Having your children in daycare

Kia Ora, Play Learn and Grow Whanau. Being a parent I believe is one of the hardest jobs but it can also be the most rewarding. I love being a mum to my 3 boys but being a Grandma is even better. I have 2 grandchildren, Eva 30mths and Kairo 4 months who I love and care for greatly.  It is the same for the tamariki at Play Learn and Grow who I feel are my extended grandchildren. As a Grandma I get to enjoy every moment engaging, observing and empowering them in their well being and development. To have children in daycare is not an easy decision but these days it has become a necessity for many.  But be assured they are loved and nurtured as if they were my own grandchildren. Parents know their children better than anyone and are their first teachers. I believe it is of the utmost importance for continual communication between us all, either personally or in written form to ensure the children and families experience an environment which promotes health, aspirations and well being for their unique child.

Stay safe and look forward to seeing you all soon.
